Also, of primary importance, a new occupation.  Dan was an accomplished fine cabinet maker and Cathy a graphic designer which provided a living in the mountains but wasn’t going to work in Austin in their own business.  Combining their talents and with a little or a lot of luck,  perseverance they established Travis Graphics in 1984. 

Dan bought a book on screenprinting and built his first manual press - 4-color - at that. Cathy put together a preprint line that was geared for Austin and Lake Travis marinas, stores etc.
 
 

Now, fourteen years later, we have an automatic printing press, 2 manual presses, 
a computerized art department, all housed in a environmentally friendly 2,000 sq. ft.
building (1 mile from Lake Travis), with a great client base from individuals to large corporations.

We are located off Hudson Bend Rd. near Lake Travis, Austin, Texas.  The services provided include screenprinting, design, embroidery and ad specialty items.
